Grades 6-12

Confirmation should strengthen us and start a renewed zeal for discipleship. It should awaken our experience of Baptism and point us toward our sharing in the Eucharist. It should strengthen us for the journey of discipleship and for active participation in the faith community.

Confirmation is a journey of faith for our young church. We recognize that this journey is not the same for each teen, so we have adapted and adjusted our program to better equip them for the path ahead after Confirmation. It's not a graduation or the end of the journey, but an encounter with the Spirit to grow us into disciples. We want the teens to take ownership of their Catholic faith and work alongside their parents, who play a vital role in nurturing this fire. St William's begins Confirmation with a year of discernment in the 7th grade, a journey that parents are integral to.
